WHERE WE FISH

The Locations

Miami

Just outside of metropolitan Miami, lies the vast flats and world class fishery of Biscayne Bay. Stretching from Key Biscayne down to Ocean Reef, includes Biscayne National Park, which offers a wide array of protected coral reef and wildlife species that thrive off this special ecosystem. Inside of Biscayne Bay you can witness the historic site of Stiltsville (wooden houses on the water) which has survived many hurricanes along with a private home nestled on it’s own island of the Ragged Keys and a renowned lighthouse inside of Boca Chita Key. From fishing in brackish water to oceanic water, floating across diverse flats with lush seagrass meadows, poling along shallow and deep-water shorelines and mud and hard-coral bottom terrain, you can quickly understand why fishing in Miami and Biscayne Bay is a completely unique experience. Targeted fish species include bonefish, permit, tarpon, mutton snapper, barracuda, yellowjacks, grouper, mangrove snapper and other reef dwellers.

Flamingo

Nestled at the southern end of Florida and U.S. mainland is Flamingo marina, which allows access to anglers to fish the historic waters of Everglades National Park. Flamingo allows for a multitude of options, whether it’s fishing the inside tannic brackish waters amidst the maze of mangrove shorelines, heading due west and fishing the natural beaches, shorelines, and lake systems fed from the Gulf of Mexico, or fishing Florida Bay and it’s expansive flats filled with lush turtle and manatee grass meadows directly out front, south and eastward of the marina. No matter which direction you take, you can find yourself in complete solitude and appreciation of untouched land, a variety of both birds and fauna, and a wide array of species that thrive of this one-of-a-kind ecosystem. Everglades National Park is a worldclass fishery for targeting redfish, snook, tarpon, seatrout, mangrove snapper, black drum and other seasonal species.
